Our Standard shipping method is UPS Ground as it is fast, reliable and reasonable, no matter where you live in the US. Free shipping is shipped economy unless otherwise noted.

We do our absolute best to keep your rates as low as possible, taking the time with each order to verify that our website has quoted you the cheapest possible amount to get your product to you. Please make sure you have a valid email address or phone number with your order, in the case that we were able to adjust your shipping costs.

Like many other shipping providers (i.e. USPS, FedEx, etc.), UPS recently began calculating live rates based on the *dimensional weight of a package* rather than its true weight. A calculation for dimensional weight is used to determine live shipping rates and considers the actual size of an item (i.e. shipping for saddle pads is more than shipping for girth). We always do our very best to keep excess packaging minimal, and rates as low as possible.

To help make things easier on our customers, Action Rider Tack now offers Free Shipping on orders of $150 or more, up to 10 lbs in the continental US only, excluding Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Some restrictions apply: Saddles and saddle pads excluded, due to dimensional weight. Offer subject to change without notice. Shipping is economy ground unless otherwise noted.

Additional Charges/Exclusions:
Due to the size, bulk and/or weight of some products, an additional shipping and handling surcharge may apply, as indicated in specific product information. You will be contacted by our Customer Service with a shipping quote before we ship your order, via email or phone (if provided by customer). All international shipments require a quote. Shipping Time:
If every item in your order is in stock, and you place your order before 12 noon PST, we will ship your order the same day. Standard ground shipments typically take 3-7 business days to arrive, although if you live near our distribution center, it can take less than that. This time is an estimate and can vary with seasonality, weather and other factors. We also offer your choice of UPS 3 Day Select, UPS 2nd Day Air, and UPS Next Day Air, at your expense.

Holiday Shipping:
During late November and December, UPS experiences a surge in shipping. This can impact shipping times. During the busy holiday season please try to allow a couple of extra days for exceptions such as bad weather, etc. If you need your order in a hurry, please consider upgrading to one of our alternate shipping methods, at your cost.

Delivery:
Please remember that standard UPS shipments will be left at your doorstep* if you are not home. If you do not think that your package will be safe, please call us to upgrade your shipping method, or have the package shipped to an address where someone will be able to receive it. We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen packages that have been marked as "delivered" when tracked via the delivery confirmation number.

Canada and International Shipments:
All international orders are excluded from Free Shipping offer: Real-Time shipping rates are applied. We use USPS for most Canadian and international shipments. Where Does My Package Ship From?
At the present time, most of our packages are shipped out of Medford, Oregon. Occasionally, we do have an item drop-shipped for you directly from a vendor, but this is rare.
Our staff at Action Rider Tack is personally responsible for the fulfillment of your order. We use quality boxes, including recycled boxes, new plastic bags and protective materials in the shipment of your order. We may also include print materials that we feel would interest you.

How are Shipping Rates Calculated?

What about Insurance?
