| Nikwax Leather Cleaner is ideal for cleaning all your leather tack, and other general leather-based products. The spray-on bottle makes the cleaner easy to apply. Water-based - environmentally friendly, biodegradable, non-flammable and non-hazardous, it also does not contain fluorocarbons. This cleaner safely revitalizes the look and feel of leather. It lifts out dirt that would usually attract water and mask water repellent finishes. Removes grease, mold and insects. You'll love the way your leathers will look - they become revitalized in both, look and feel, without being over-softened. The cleaner won't strip off the manufacturer's water repellency, and it increases or maintains breathability. 'Wetting-out' is not encouraged as it doesn't leave behind water-attractive residues. All your leather gear will gain prolonged life with regular use - and outdoor performance is optimized. |

1. How to apply:
Application (use gloves):
- Wipe surface with damp cloth or rinse under running water to remove surface dirt. Use soft nylon brush if necessary.
- Lay wet item flat on suitable surface.
- Hold bottle 15 cm/6 inches away from item.
- Apply evenly to outside of item. Rub in well, paying attention to particularly dirty areas using a soft brush to remove soiled marks.
- Wipe surface with clean damp cloth.
Volume guide:
This bottle is enough to clean 1-2 items depending on the condition of the leather being treated and the size of the item.
Note:
For light/colored leathers and soft nubuck/suede, test on a hidden
area first. To clean leather footwear use Nikwax® Footwear Cleaning Gel.
To waterproof leather items treat with Nikwax® Leather Restorer and for
footwear use Nikwax® Aqueous Wax or Conditioner for Leather.
2. When to use this product:
You should be able to clean reproofed garments 6 to 8 times with Nikwax Leather Cleaner before it requires reproofing with the appropriate Nikwax proofer.
