High UV protection Buff®
is a tube-piece headwear which has been created for use during the
hottest months of the year. Thanks to a special system of Coolmax®
Extreme fabric, it enables a high degree of transpiration and offers 95%
of protection against the sun. This product is multifunctional: it can
be worn as a hair-band, in pirate style, in Saharan style- protecting
your head and the back of your neck, or below your helmet. This is the
perfect complement for sports in the sun with excellent protection. As
with all Buff headwear this headwear is made with a highly breathable
fabric with good elasticity.

How to do a cap and a pirate
A special four-channel fibre forms a transport system that pulls moisture away from the skin to the outer layer of the fabric. It then dries that moisture faster than any other fabric and thermoregulate the body.
Ultraviolet radiation, or UV, is present in sunlight.
Sunburn is a sign that your skin has received too much UV.
Overexposure to UV over many years can cause more serious
health problems such as skin cancer or cataracts.
Garments that are sensibly designed for sun protection like this
one reduce your UV exposure. *Samples of fabrics have been tested for UV protection by
AITEX and LEITAT – Textile Technology Institutes in accordance
with the standard AS/NZS4399:1996 “Sun protective clothing – Evaluation and Classification”,
results ranged from 93.3% to 96.7%, averaging 95% UV protection.
