Protect your horse's nose when using a Best Friend's Grazing Muzzle or other muzzle.
This comfortable sheepskin nose pad wraps around popular grazing muzzle baskets to pad and protect a horse's tender and sensitive nose area from chafing and hair loss. Use two pads if your horse is sensitive under the jaw.
The JMS Grazing Muzzle Sheepskin Noseband Pads are made of soft and plush one-inch sheepskin and are 3.75 x 10.25 inches.
Machine washable with Kookaburra Woolwash.

WORD OF CAUTION when choosing your color. We do not recommend using a darker color wool against lighter colored horses as sometimes the pH balance of the horses sweat can interact with the wool dye causing "dye migration". JMS and Action Rider Tack cannot be held responsible for dye migration. Pre-washing the sheepskin can reduce the possibility of this rare interaction.

Tech Info
JMS sheepskin colors:Black, Burgundy, Chocolate Brown, Grey, Hunter Green, Medical Ivory, Navy Blue, *Pink (soft), Red, Tan, White.
NOTE:
Medical Ivory - is best for sensitive-skin horses and people in wheelchairs/bed pads, etc.
All the above colors are all ONE-INCH WOOL pile on the sheepskin hide, except PINK.
*The soft pink is JMS's newest color (approx. color of pink heart on color swatch image, below), and it is short-shorn to 5/8 inch wool height (best for halters, nosebands, etc.). It is available for saddle seats but won't be as cushy as the other colors.
Red, Green and Pink are JMS custom colors.
For Merino Sheepskins, the true "natural" color is JMS's "white". That's how the sheep's wool looks after it has been washed and the sun-burnt lanolin wool-tips have been trimmed off.
JMS makes everything on their ranch. All by American Labor.
