NibbleNet Plenty Slow Feeder

Description

NibbleNet® Plenty Slow Feeder:
 · holds a small 2 strand hay bale (approx. 50 pounds - 40x20x15)
 · includes 20 d-rings, and 5 hanging straps
 · hang on fence or place it on the ground

The NibbleNet Plenty will hold approximately 50 pounds of hay. The NibbleNet manufacturer expresses how convenient and easy this is ... just place your entire small bale inside and THEN cut the twine. It has plenty of d-rings and hanging straps to make it even more convenient by giving you plenty of options to hang this anywhere, or to use on the ground.

However you choose to use it, it is recommended that you observe your horse, and his behavior with the slow feeder as his safety is paramount - particularly take care in how you secure your bag or any objects around horses.

The NibbleNet is extremely safe and durable. The hay is stored inside the bag, allowing the horse to "graze" for his hay in a natural way. The openings means he has to work for the hay, one bite at a time. Slowing him down makes for healthier digestion, and keeps him busy much longer.

Available in Black only.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT NIBBLENET PRODUCTS:

If your Nibblenet has a side fabric, it is an 18 ounce heavy duty vinyl made to be outside in the harsh elements. It has superior tear, puncture and abrasion resistance.  It has excellent UV and weather protection and is rated to -40 degrees.  However, remember that horses are 1000 pound animals and are capable of destroying things - they like to rub and chew.  So, please don't leave The Nibblenet hanging empty or unattended for long periods of time.

All NibbleNets ® come with two sets of D-rings on the top. The top strap with the snap hooks clip the bag closed. Horses are not able to get the hay out from the top. They also come with D-rings on the bottom corners for attaching the optional bottom strap.

Your NibbleNet has been designed in a vertical fashion.  When properly stuffed, the flakes of hay should sit well below the top of the bag.  If you overstuff the bag and leave hay sticking out of the top, you will teach your horse to try to eat out of the top!  Please do not do this as you are defeating the purpose of the NibbleNet and put abnormal stress on the top d-rings from the horse trying to force his head into the bag.

We recommend that The NibbleNet ®  be hung in a suitable place free from sharp objects and abrasive surfaces for the longest life possible. We also recommend that you secure the bottom of the bag to keep the bag stable for your horse and to give him something to pull against.

The NibbleNet® is designed with webbing on the bottom, so the dusty chaff can fall through and away from the horse. This feature is also wonderful for those that wish to soak their hay. The entire NibbleNet ®  can be submerged in a muck bucket full of water or you can just squirt the hay inside The NibbleNet® with a hose.

HINT:  If you hang your NibbleNet with the strap attached to the two (2) d-rings on the back (snap hooks facing you), the front of the bag will hang open and you can slide flakes of hay into The Nibblenet like putting a pillow into a pillow case.
