The Barefoot
Sierra is an extremely light weight, horse friendly trekking or
endurance saddle.
Made of a robust open pore cow hide called nubuck, the Barefoot Sierra is a western treeless saddle that is pliable enough to mold to your horse’s back. The saddle is finished with leather trim and a lovely horsehead design on the panel as well as 8 d-rings, conchos and leather strings for tying items to your saddle. Black, thick fleece is on the underside. The Barefoot Sierra western treeless saddle will take you for miles and offers delicious rider comfort. The saddle has round skirts with short saddle flaps and English billets. All Barefoot brand treeless saddles come with a saddle system called VPS which is a patented panel system designed to protect the spine of the horse. The fiberglass insert (size "wide fork") can be exchanged as with all Barefoot saddles. This Barefoot treeless saddle is also referred to by some as the "Atlanta with a horn." Order options: This item is only for this saddle in size 1, Combination Brown/Black. The Sierra is also available in size 2, black - SEE SADDLE HERE If you'd like more information visit our Barefoot Saddles USA website. |

Please note:
The length of saddle (A) is the overall length. Since there is no pressure at all in the rear part, the horse can move freely. Even if the saddle looks a little too long on your horse, choose the size according to your measurements. It is very important that the saddle fits the rider well, so he has enough space between thighs and pommel and does not sit on the pommel or cantle, which would limit the saddle's adaptability. The horse's back is free of any pressure at the rear – the Barefoot can even be lifted slightly at the cantle with a rider on board.
