What a pedigree! Easycare has combined their best boots into one. They've taken the Easyboot Glove and the Easyboot Trail and produced this exceptional 'colt'. This is Easyboot's new breed of hoof boot. One that you will come to love!

This boot  has a soft, durable upper that combines softness and flexibility. It features a 'comfort cup' at the top - a gaiter to protect soft tissue areas on the hoof rear. The front shield on this boot acts as an integrated power strap. The anatomically designed sole provides maximum flexibility and resists wear.

Quick and easy to put on and take off. If you want the finest boot money can buy, this is the boot for you. The Easyboot Glove Back Country is recommended for medium to high mileage riding of 25 – 50 miles per week. It is designed to stay on securely in the toughest of trail conditions, on the most challenging of hoof shapes.

The comfort cup is supple and resilient and anatomically designed to flex with each step and hug the back of the pastern. Because of the gaiter, the risk of rubbing is virtually eliminated. This boot will be the most luxurious hoof boot money can buy!

THREE BOOTS IN ONE! Tired of boots that aren't compatible? Because the Easyboot Glove Back Country is built on a shared platform, it can easily transformed into an Easyboot Glue-On or Easyboot Glove. It becomes a Glue-On by removing the flexible upper and Comfort Cup gaiter. Or it becomes an Easyboot Glove by attaching a Glove Gaiter. NOTE: Additional accessories required.

Features an anatomically designed sole. It uses the tread design from the Easyboot Glove. And why not? The tread is an award winner! The sole provides maximum flexibility and resists wear.

Success of the Easyboot Glove Back Country is determined by accurate measurements and a snug fit.

How to measure for the Easyboot Glove Back Country:

  1. After a fresh trim, measure the width of the hoof across the bottom at the widest point.
  2. Measure the length of the hoof from the toe to the buttress line of the heel. The buttress line is the farthest weight bearing point of the heel where the hoof wall ends. Do not include the heel bulbs in the measurement.
  3. Compare your measurements with the appropriate size chart. Ideally, the length and width measurements should fit into the same size on the chart. Because this boot needs to fit very snug, if you are a size apart it is recommended that you order a fit kit. Be sure to check the requirements and measurements against an alternative boot in the EasyCare line - another style may accommodate your horse's hoof shape better.

3. Fitting the Easyboot Glove Back Country on your horse
  1. Fully open the Cordura® cover ensuring that no Velcro® areas are touching and that the cover is pulled completely forward.
  2. Fold the Comfort Cup Gaiter flat with the boot shell.
  3. Facing the rear of your horse, pick up the hoof and slip it, toe first, into the boot. Place the sole of the hoof firmly down into the Easyboot Glove Back Country and pull the Comfort Cup Gaiter over the heel bulb. Place the hoof on the ground to a weight-bearing position. Lift an opposite leg to assure the hoof is fully weight bearing.
  4. Starting at the front, push both side flaps against the hoof wall in a downward direction. The collar of the boot should be snug around the pastern bone. Secure the cover at the rear by pulling both ends firmly around the heel, overlapping the double Velcro® flaps evenly.
  5. The Easyboot Glove Back Country is now securely in place. Confirm that the Back Country patch on the front of the boot is aligned through the center line of the hoof and pastern bone.

4. Easyboot Glove Back Country Fitting Tips:

  • Easyboot Back Country boots fit on both - the left and the right hoof: they are not left/right specific.
  • After the cover has been secured, ensure Velcro® flap ends are overlapped int he correct position.
  • Working your horse in incorrectly sized Easyboot Back Country boots can lead to chafing. Correct size selection will ensure maximum performance and hoof boot durability.
  • Give your horse time to adjust to wearing Easyboot Back Country boots. The first time you fit your horse with Easyboot Back Country boots, start by just walking out.
  • Gradually increase the duration and distance of rides wearing Easyboot Back Country boots to ensure your horse becomes accustomed to the new hoofwear. Too much too soon can lead to chafing.
