Description
Taylored Tack Dog Collars with Overlay
get wet, go swimming, no problems!
- easy care, comfortable, rust-free
- match your horse tack or customize
|
You give this as a special treat to your dog and will soon find out it is a treat for you, too! When you find out how easy-care this is, that you can get it wet without any concerns, that it doesn't get stiff over time, and is really strong you'll never settle on another type of collar again!
Why is it a treat for your dog you might ask? Well it's soft and comfy for him for a start, and if he likes swimming he knows that you won't freak out if he even looks like going for a swim. Then that gets back to the treat for you - as this collar will stay looking good - it looks like leather, but better, and it isn't like yucky nylon. Did we mention it is oh, so good looking!? Match up with the same combination as your horse's tack so your other 4 footed friend won't feel neglected. All dressed up in overlay glory! 3. MEASURING FOR A DOG COLLAR
| Even though your new dog collar is
adjustable, it is important to measure your dog carefully for his
comfort and your peace of mind. You will not want the collar so loose
that is slips over the dog's head or so tight that he can't breathe
properly. If you are satisfied with the fit of your dog’s current collar (refer to diagram at right), measure that collar from the center bar of the buckle to the hole that best fits your dog. Ideally you will want the center hole to be your perfect fit. Our collars are sized according to this measurement, not to the over-all length of the collar. If this is your dog’s first collar or you need a collar in a different size, using a fabric tape measure, measure around the dog’s neck with an allowance for 2 fingers to fit between the dog and the collar. Keep in mind that you don't want the collar too loose that it slides over the dogs head. We've all been down that road! Return to Top |
