Healing Tree® QuikClenz® Foam-On, Rinse Off Wash - At normal pH levels (7 to 7.4) your horse's skin provides a helpful barrier to unfriendly fungus and bacteria. When this balance is disturbed by sweat, insect sprays or other high pH cleansing products, a horse can become more susceptible to fungal and bacterial problems.

Description:
Equine
anti-fungal and anti-microbial concentrate. Effective against ringworm,
rain scald, rain rot and sweet itch. Disinfects tack and brushes.
Indications:
An
external, active quaternary germicide for ringworm, rainscald, rain
rot, sweet itch, girth itch and other horse skin conditions.
Ingredients:
Active Ingredients: Benzathonium chloride, Tea Tree oil.
Inactive Ingredients: Buffering agents, stabilizing and solubilizing agents, Deionized water.
Directions:
To
use this dispenser, hold the container upright. Loosen the black cap
from the dosage chamber and gently squeeze the bottle to fill the
chamber.
Body Wash: Mix 2 chambers (2.0 oz.) of TeaClenz Anti-Microbial Concentrate with 2 gallons of clean water, preferably warm. Do not shampoo or bathe the horse with any other product prior to wash. Thoroughly wet the horse with TeaClenz solution saturating the entire body, or at least the affected areas to be treated. Remove excess with scraper or sponge. Do not rinse. Repeat treatment daily for three days in a row.
Tack Wash: Use a mixture of 1 chamber (1.0 oz.) of TeaClenz Anti-Microbial Concentrate to one gallon warm water to wash or soak brushes and to sponge off tack, wraps, etc. The same mixture can be used to wash blankets, wraps, etc. in your washing machine. (Be sure to check with equipment manufacturers’ recommendations before using.)
Cautions:
Keep
out of reach of children. Avoid contact with full strength solution.
Wash hands with soap and hot water immediately after use. Causes eye
damage and skin irritation. In case of contact, flush eyes or skin with
copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Obtain medical
attention for eye irritation. For use on horses only.
Warning:
Use only as directed. Concentrate must be diluted.
