Taylored Tack Dog Collars - Zane
waterproof - easy to clean
- stays soft and pliable - won't get smelly
- stunning conchos set this collar apart from others
|
The "Zane" collar came about when Karn Bohn asked for a special collar for him. Match to your tack for fun, but remember you're getting a very practical collar. It's soft, easy to clean and will stay pliable - not like those that get hard over time, and covered in gunk! It has none of the nasty nylon smell, either. We told Zane it was waterproof, but I'm not sue he believed us, by the look on his face. Such a cutie!
And ooh la la! Such stunning conchos. Who else has a collar like this? Not too many, we're sure. But one look at this, and we know they will be wishing they did have one! The conchos (3) are made in polished antique silver plate. They are tarnish-free. The collar is 3/4" wide with 1" padding. Images: "Zane" is shown wearing his Black Beta® dog collar with 3 Floral Heart Conchos. All stainless steel hardware. Conchos are 1" in size. 3. MEASURING FOR A DOG COLLAR
| Even though your new dog collar is
adjustable, it is important to measure your dog carefully for his
comfort and your peace of mind. You will not want the collar so loose
that is slips over the dog's head or so tight that he can't breathe
properly. If you are satisfied with the fit of your dog’s current collar (refer to diagram at right), measure that collar from the center bar of the buckle to the hole that best fits your dog. Ideally you will want the center hole to be your perfect fit. Our collars are sized according to this measurement, not to the over-all length of the collar. If this is your dog’s first collar or you need a collar in a different size, using a fabric tape measure, measure around the dog’s neck with an allowance for 2 fingers to fit between the dog and the collar. Keep in mind that you don't want the collar too loose that it slides over the dogs head. We've all been down that road! Return to Top |
