Action Rider Stirrup Leather Keepers


Action Rider Leather Keepers can be used with 1" wide English stirrup leathers as a way to hold the stirrup steady and to protect the rider's leg when the buckle is positioned by the ankle. This keeper keeps the excess stirrup end tucked neatly at the ankle. Slide over your stirrup leathers.

I absolutely love my new Madrid saddle! The contact I have with my horse is unbelievable. I think my mare loves it as
much as I do. She is a TWH and she is gaiting beautifully and really wants to move out. It did take a few rides to get accustomed to it. I sit higher and deeper in the saddle and my legs wrap around her barrel. Awesome saddle! I would recommend it to anyone, especially gaited horses.

I always hated the English saddles that you could feel the stirrup leather buckle under your leg.  Sometimes bruised.  The leather keepers turns the leathers upside down basically, with buckle at your ankle and leather keepers holding the buckle and leathers together.  I like this method.

They are great.  Although not recommended for short people that have leathers pulled up short where the thickest part is under the thigh.
