Myler Bits HBT Shank MB33 Cyprium

The Myler Bits HBT Shank MB33 Cyprium is made with a copper alloy mouthpiece. It is a length of round metal slightly curved back, with a flat-top purchase and a rein ring. The mouthpiece has a fixed attachment. The entire shank moves independently of the mouthpiece. The purchase is slightly angled away from the horse to avoid rubbing.

Cyprium is a copper alloy and is completely nickel free. The copper makes this bit more readily accepted by horses and increases salivation and chewing

It is used in Western riding and has an indirect action which is designed to be used with a curb strap or chain. The HBT is well suited to trail riding as the shorter shank makes grazing easier.

The Myler MB33 mouthpiece is the mildest in terms of tongue pressure. The generously wide port allows room for the tongue to pass under the bit so the horse can swallow easily. This mouthpiece works primarily off the bars, lips, chin and poll. There is little to no palate pressure. The MB33 has Independent Side Movement.
