The Easyboot has been the industry’s leading horse boot for the last thirty years. During this time period, Easyboots have been used to win endurance races, complete mounted treks from 2,000-18,000 miles in length, provide traction to mounted police units, treat many hoof problems and ride a horse home after a lost shoe. Although the Easyboot concept has continued to improve each year, in 2005 several enhancements were introduced which incorporate testing and feedback from horsemen all over the world.
The Easyboot 2005 Gaiter is one such enhancement. The Easyboot Gaiter has been designed to improve the performance of the Easyboot on barefoot horses and in muddy terrain. The Gaiter is also very helpful for keeping Easyboots on horses that have a tendency to lose hoof boots. The Easyboot Gaiter can quickly be added all Easyboots manufactured after January 2005.
In 2008 EasyCare, Inc. improved its Easyboot Gaiter with rolled edges and no internal stitching for a softer, more comfortable surface. Two-way elastic has replaced leather for added stretch to suit differing heel conformations. Easier to apply and remove the boot.
