Montana Cincha Dressage Girths - Natural Mohair


Montana Cincha Dressage Girths with Natural Mohair are made of goat hair, feel comfortable to your horse, and eliminate slipping and galling. It is the one material that is least likely to rub, chafe, pinch, roll or bother your horse.

This girth is made for Action Rider Tack by Montana Cincha of Texas from premium 100% mohair.

This girth comes with keepers, roller buckles and breastplate D rings - all hardware is stainless steel. Choose leather or neoprene backers.

Click on Tech tab for size measuring tip. Larger sizes available on special order (allow 10-14 days). Price increase by inch after 36". Please call for estimated ship date.

Wash all mohair products by hand in cold water with mild soap such as Kookaburra Wash. Lay flat to dry - DO NOT HANG. DO NOT MACHINE WASH.

I've been struggling with girth galls from my rolled leather girths. This girth took care of the problem within just a few rides. My horse is remarkably less girth and he's got no more rubs at his elbows!

My sensitive TB gelding has been ears back flinching with leather and neoprene dressage girths. (And yes… saddle fits and he is medically sound) I ordered a Montana Cincha dressage mohair girth and Voila! A happy horse! The mohair is easy to maintain, leather at the buckles is gentle on my horse. No sores or discomfort. Light weight and breathable. Action rider website is easy to use and was easy to use Pay Pal for my purchase. Girth arrived in a timely manner, well packed and in perfect condition.

This is a wonderful girth. It is light comfortable for my horse. I like the neoprene protection on the end as it’s easy to clean

I had always used neoprene girths on my horses but as they aged and their skin became thinner, they kept getting rub sores where the buckles were.  So I thought I would try a good old fashioned mohair girth.  Wow ! What a difference. They are so soft and comfortable. My horses love them and their hair has grown back .. No more sores !
