The pads are constructed in three (3) layers. The rider's weight is distributed evenly across the horse's body by the surface layer, while the inner layer is smooth against your horse's skin. The outer layer also sports some great fashionable color choices in tailored piping.

Between the lining and upper layers of this pad is a very special 3D layer that provides not only comfort, but also an extremely top performing ventilation system. The structure of the 3 dimensional layer provides constant ventilation. It's breathable, and provides an even temperature through transpiration. The process of wicking takes away any moisture and heat from your horse's skin. This would usually allow harmful bacteria to grow if these conditions were left in place. The layering is a sandwich of sturdy honeycomb-like tissue on the outside, with an airy, padded spacer that has been created by interweaving threads in a crisscross pattern. Movement by the horse and rider then manages air flow and extremely effective ventilation through the fiber channels of this fabric.

Suitable for all disciplines of horse riding, used by European endurance teams. The pad is easy to clean, very lightweight and anti-bacterial. It can be washed in a washing machine at a maximum temperature of 86 degrees F (30 degrees C). Don't tumble dry, dry clean, or bleach.

The fabric of these pads is Sympatex, a polyester and polyether. The waterproof, windproof, breatheable membrane is laminated to the fabric. The fabric is smooth to the touch. The company that makes the saddle pads is based in Spain and specializes in endurance riding.
