Myler Bits Pelham MB33
Myler Bits Pelham MB33 has a generous wide port and is a popular bit in all breed English flat classes and with hunter/jumpers. It is designed to be used with two pairs of reins. The headstall attaches to the purchase ring, keeping the cheek stationary. The primary set of reins are the snaffle reins. They attach to the larger ring. The second set of reins attach to the smaller ring. These are the curb reins. You can use snaffle rein and curb rein independently
Snaffle ring is direct contact. Curb ring is indirect contact. Curb chain included, lip strap optional.
Myler Bit Level 3
Stainless Steel Pelham with Stainless Steel Ported Barrel (MB 33, Level 3) Copper Inlay Mouth
The Myler MB33 mouthpiece is the mildest in terms of tongue pressure. The generously wide port allows room for the tongue to pass under the bit so the horse can swallow easily. This mouthpiece works primarily off the bars, lips, chin and poll. There is little to no palate pressure. The MB33 has Independent Side Movement.
A curb chain or strap is recommended for ported mouthpieces.
